Director of Communications and Outreach
The Riecken Foundation is seeking a versatile and creative communications director to lead the organization’s outreach and public relations efforts. The position reports directly to senior management and is based in Washington, D.C. with some travel to Central America. The director will develop and implement a comprehensive communications plan directed at both internal and external audiences; produce written and multimedia material; manage relations with the media; coordinate with programming, evaluation and fundraising staff and provide technical assistance to field offices. Program Intern - Washington, DC
The Riecken Foundation is offering a non-paid internship for an undergraduates or graduate student interested in exploring a career in international development. The length of the internship is negotiable, but will be for no less than two months, and no less than 10 hours per week. An internship with the Riecken Foundation offers a unique experience of working in our DC office, supporting both programmatic and administrative efforts to create dynamic spaces for discovery, learning and social participation in Guatemala and Honduras.
